twists and turns

Well, life now-a-days has been little too confusing... I am stuck up with a question that has been buggin me for long and it has started irritating me now. Its as if the question is laughin at me, "hahaha ... u cant figure it out ... here I am ... come nd get me.... blah blah" I m wonderin, shd I or shd I not?, I think before every move, nd yet smehw get the feelin dat I made a mistake. Some people are jus too "?" type ... cant figure dem out... jus impossible. Watever I try doin abt it, .... its lik it doesnt fail, not it succeeds, there is no response.... null value... nothing! atleast a response wld be gr8 ... man....I m goin mad...
Its the people...they hav changed a lot... I wanted them to be the way they were wen I 1st met them ... so cool, awesome, open ... nd masti ... but nw, its changed, they seem to be under pressure. Duno wats buggin dem, never tell.. many hide important things that need to be said and matter the most. The world is cruel, so fight ppl, dont adjust to cruelity. I wish things get bac to the way they were. 3rd yr has seen many changes. Unnecessary, unwanted and destructive changes. Maybe I lost what I had, what I wanted to always be. I hope fate gives me, my world a second chance... :|

Peugeot Concept Cars of Tomorrow

If Gundam mated with Will Smith's Audi in I, Robot, the offspring would resemble these futuristic concept cars from European brand Peugeot. The cars car-like vehicles were all entries in the 2008 Peugeot Design Contest. Designers were asked by organizers to create vehicles for that ambiguous but tantalizing "city of the future." Areas of focus included environmental awareness, "social harmony," interactive mobility and efficiency. As you can see in the "Blade" vehicle above, efficiency is improved with the wind turbine that designer Ying Hui Choo added to charge an on-board electric battery.

The 888, designed by Oskar Johansen, pivots at the center and reduces its size for "easier parking, maneuverability and increased visibility."

Emre Yazici's "EGO" has two wheels and is controlled Atari-style with a joystick. The windshield doubles as the door.

Wireless guitar and drums

Another interesting thing I found ...

Just like the actual Rock Band 2 game, the new Rock Band 2 peripherals work more at refining the experience than redefining it. The wireless guitar and wireless drum kit add a bit of freedom from tripping and crashing into coffee tables, as well as minor design decisions that only improve your fake rocking out. The improvements aren't different or better enough for Rock Band 1 owners to throw out their current gear and buy these versions, but they are a great bonus for people who are buying the Rock Band 2 set.

The Guitar: The differences between the wireless Rock Band 2 guitar and the wired Rock Band 1 guitar are minor. The most obvious one is the fact that you can now, as Bruce Dickinson advises, "really explore the studio space" without yanking your Xbox 360 onto the floor. It may sound like nothing special, but it's one of those things—like getting waxed—that you have to experience for yourself to understand.

The strummer is almost exactly the same as the first, but has a slight bit more firmness to it. Nowhere near as clacky like Guitar Hero's, but Rock Band fans like it that way. The fret buttons are also exactly the same, with five up on top and five down below for solos. These are also slightlymodified to feel better to the touch.

The exterior design is modeled after the Fender Stratocaster, with a faux wood finish look (the guitar is still plastic) that's nicer than Rock Band 1's. It's also slightly shorter by a couple inches. It's not an amazing upgrade, but definitely improves on the old version in every way. All these miniscule changes made our playing better. Not incredibly better, but just enough that we notice a difference. Still not good enough to pass Green Grass and High Tides on expert though.

The Drums: Rock Band 2's wireless drums are also slightly changed from the original, including a reinforced kick pedal to address breaking issues and velocity-sensitive drum pads. The target smack in the middle of each head makes it a lot easier to hit the center of the pad and not the edges because there's a subtle difference in sound when you hit compared to the rest of the face. The wireless on these drums isn't a huge deal because unlike the guitar, you're not roaming around your living room while drumming. It is useful for keeping the area between you and the TV clear, which is always great for clumsy drummers and singers. We didn't get a chance to test the cymbal add-on, which should add an extra layer of complexity for experienced drumsters.

Just like the guitar, the minor changes found in the drums aren't worth upgrading for if you already own a set. Instead, you can think of these as a bonus for people who were patient enough to wait for Rock Band 2 before joining the rhythm music craze.

Computer Gaming: why, how, n all...

FRAGS!.... HEADSHOTS!.... VROOMING CARS... jus the sound of it ... now thats virual reality, or Computer Gaming!

Thanx to mankind for inventing something called "Computer Game". Srsly, for a guy lik me, huz lazy n hu left the cricket team cuz of laziness( :D ), I found a paradise in comp gaming. I hav played many many games ranging from the good ol TV Video games lik mario, contra (still play em ;) ), snow bros, duckhunt, wwf, tarzan, etc to ol DOS based comp games lik dave, mario, doom, heretic, F1, prince of persia (DOS), speed racer, roadrash etc to newer games lik Thing, Prince of persia, (hate GTA), FIFA, Cricket(hate dat too), Hitman series, Unreal tournament series, Quake series, Counter Strike series, NFS series, Max payne series, soul reaver series, legacy of kain series, age of empires series, mythology, warcraft series, to name a few :P ... (lately I havent played many due to time constraints and also higher grafics requirements (mostly that is :P ) )

Computer gaming gives what other games or sports dont give: a taste of imagination, action of virtuality, sense of reality and sight of fantasy. This gives exposure in various concepts and areas of activity in this world. One can play any role in a comp game, from a scientist to a driver to an assassin to a prince to a vampire to monsters to soldiers, nd so on nd on... You get into virtual reality and experience what you probably might never in your life. Hence its widely recommended that you use a good processor, grafics card, sound system and input units (lik mouse nd jpystick n all, if u hav a console lik X-box, PS2, dats still awesome).

But yet many are against this concept. They just hate games, simply because they are "in-capable" of playing it. They lack the creativity, thinking and mindset required to play a computer game. This disability isnt the concern. Many are not able to, and thats ok. Even many ppl lik me cant play sports like basketball.. jus cant play.. but i like the game, appreciate it. On the other hand, ppl lik them who think comp games suck are definitely "dumb" and wrong. This attitude is stupid of course...no1 cares what they think, its jus that we know they think like dat, nd jus "frget them", dont care ... wtf (ok i duno hw better to say, my way of expressing things are bad ... very much :P )

So, lik ppl.... I wont bore u much longer ... go get gaming ... (download games from torrents :) ... pss... its free! )

Bionic lens a reality???

Hey ppl, chk ths out ... smethin wat I found browsing the net... pretty interesting...

Professor James Wolffsohn from Aston University in the United Kingdom imagines that within the next decade, the cure to near- and farsightedness will not only exist, but will actually be within reach. While the underlying idea of replacing biological lenses with minty-fresh artificial ones isn'tnecessarily new (think cataract surgery), Wolffsohn's efforts will allow patients to focus both near and far, instead of just plain old, boring far. While the details on how the lenses work are a little scant (read non-existent), apparently eye muscles squeezing the "ultra-flexible" devices allow the actual focusing to occur. The professor has been working with opthology companies to commercialize the specs, and envisions the procedure costing less than £1,000 within the next five to ten years. Sounds good to us, because fancy new lenses or not, as people who stare at computer screens all day, the odds of us going under the laser at some point are a tad on the high side.

The LHC computer system hacked

More threatening news for those who think the world would end with the LHC (Large Hadron Collider) in action. Apparely it seems some ultra genuis hackers "hacked" the computer system of the LHC. They wer jus a step away from gaining control over one of its massive detecctors. They called themselves the Geek Security Team (Funny name eh?) and damaged one of CERN's files, and left many files into the system. The image shown above is what they displayed at cmsmon.cern.ch website, which wuz not accessable until yesterday...damn, awesome... This was indeed scary, c'mon I mean CERN's site hackable ... dat easily??? Improve it before something maaaajor happens...
